ENBE Site Visit

Look From D'Ark Resort

On the second week I entered Taylor's University, and our ENBE class has already planned a interesting trip for us. This trip is a 3-days-2-nights trip at Janda Baik. On the 11th April 2014, Friday, morning 7.00 am, we gathering in front of the 7-eleven at Taylor's University, and 7.30 am is the time tat our trip started.

After arrived to the area, we had our lunch and brief. After the brief, we started to search for our site. The things that I saw in there are only trees, river, and trees. That gives me a feel like hug by the green. 

After a few discussion with my team, we finally found a 10mx10m area as our site. In our chose site, there is a road past in between 2 river, the river on the left side flow faster and the river on right site flow slower. Besides, there are also 2 huge trees and plants, flowers, tall grass surrounding our site.

Times, for our first day activity, the first activity is human centipede. This game is about use everything on you to make a line, the longest line win the game, but too bad our team didn't win the first game. Comes to second games, it's to create a biggest floating animal by using butter paper, newspaper, and masking tape.

My team decided to create a crocodile sin our group name is GREENIEGATORS, which get the inspiration from crocodile. Its a great experience for me to DIY such huge crocodile and can float on water. After the games, we had our dinner and brief, thats the end for my first day of the trip.

On the second day, after the breakfast, we had our activity which is raft making. This is the most interesting activity in this trip. We are given 15 bamboo and strings to create a raft. Not only making raft, after we created the raft, we have to sit on it and drive it go and return through the pound. Too bad for my team we didn't win the race, but thanks God our raft did not break apart.

It was the best and fun trip I ever had experience. This trip given me a chance to get closer with our mother nature, experience different thing and explore the nature. This trip makes a great starting point of my uni life in Taylor's University. It was really a unforgettable trip and I hope in the future there will be more trip like this for us to join!
