ENBE - Final Project - Better Livable Town - Presentation (Group) Presentation Board and Model.

As a group, we'r to present the town that was chosen in part A. The town that was chosen in our group was Philia's town, named "HEXICO". We'r to present the town with two to three presentation board, where all the information or town feature are written and a physical model.

 The model must be made by recyclable materials, 70% recyclable materials and 30% non-recyclable materials. The materials we choose is cork board and corks. It's a recyclable materials which made by recycle method and after used it is still recyclable.


The example of our town model. The mountain are made out of newspaper. We stack all the newspaper and wait for it to dry and shape it into a mountain. Beside cork board, we also used some toothpicks and some metal wires.

My reflection towards this project:

Teamwork and good communication with group members it's very important to get work done. Besides, we also learn that during doing any project, everything is important, because we are too focusing on doing the model, our presentation board is not done very well, but we still enjoying doing this project. I hope we will improve in this for any future project.

My reflection towards this project is there are a lot of thing out there that we need to learn. To produce a proposal is not that simple, we need to think about the interaction with people around it, the site location, benefit, need to be rationale and must be environmental friendly.

ICI - Project 2 - The Building Team

There are 3 parts in this project.
Part 1 - In a group of 5, we are to interview a key people in the construction industry. We are to select a firm of the given type of business and research on the firms. We are to set up and appointment with the company to interview these key people.
Part 2 - We are to produce a video presentation. This video presentation is about the interview of these key people.
Part 3 - Individually, we are to produce a magazine with the information form part 1 and 2.

The type of consultant my group choose is quantity surveyor. The key people is a consultant quantity surveyor, her name is Adeline Tan, working at Archi-Foam SDN BHD.

CL - Final Project - Landscape Project

As a group of 6, we are to find a site within Taylor's Lakeside Campus for reconstruction. We need to study the site and come up with an analysis, and from the analysis, we are to come up with a green space proposal for the site. This includes concept, master plan, planting plan, costing and construction detail and maintenance plan. We are to present our concept, master plan and planting plan on 2 A2 presentation board and a proposal report.
The site we choose is located at Block E, level 2, the balcony.

My reflection towards this project is I learn about the planting plan and how to draw it. My group member with great teamwork, we get to finish our project real quick and efficiency. Teamwork and communication is very important in doing anything. CL - Project 2 - Sustainable Landscape

This project consist of 2 phase. Phase 1A is we have to choose 1 of the international city to conduct a case study. We are to introduce the cultural landscape and implementation of sustainable landscapes, technologies and green cities planning principles. Phase 1B is select a site in Kuala Lumpur and conduct research about each neighbourhood context. Research includes on the interaction of spaces, human activity and their reponses that can be relate to the given site. Phase 2 is about making a booklet pamphlet.
The case study I chosen was Auckland and the site in Kuala Lumper was WangsaMaju.

Reflection :
This is a very good experiences, I have learn many about the international case study, how do they function, how they interact with each other, and how they sustain. Compare to our country, there are many thing need to improve. In the future, I hope, our country can be like other country, success in sustainable and liveable city.

We are to choose 1 case study to do a comparative study of similar topics with a local and international case study. After that, we are to document our finding in a form of presentation board consist of text and images. The topic I choose for my case study is waterfront. The local waterfront I choose is Harbour Square, located at Sandakan, Sabah. The international waterfront I choose is Opera House Forecourt, located at Sydney, Australia.

CTS - Final Project - Re-branding of a Daily Object (Part B)

Part B is a group project, as a group, we are to present or promote one of our chosen product. We are to act like a promoter to promote our product. We also required to make a advertisement video for our product.
 The brand name of our product is modiste's tape. We came out with an idea of promote it with a lucky draw with sponsor by samsung and we selling this thing is for charity. All the fund we earn during that day will donate to charity. Besides, our concept is 1 Malaysia. Our packaging are more towards to our country tradition, which is multi races. Because of this we came out with that idea.

CTS - Final Project - Re-branding of a Daily Object (PART A)

The task of this project is to re-branding a given object. We need to re-brand it brand name, logo, packaging and caption. This is like we are the one who selling the object. At the end of the project, we need to write a proposal report and a physical packaging of our object.

The object that are given to me is a sewing measuring tape. I re-brand the brand name to "SCHNATO", it mean tailor in different language. The caption is "Meet your professor". The logo is a combination of a ruler, sewing tape and a nail. Here is the example packaging.

My reflection : 

To re-brand this sewing measuring tape, it really blow my mine, but at last I still manage to finish it. This really improve my thinking skill and creativity. A very useful skill that I have learnt from this project.
