First, we went to Cape Rachado, Port Dickson. As a huge group we conduct a series of site analysis. After the site analysis, in pair we are to design a observation deck. The function of the deck and location are up to us to decide and must be considerate to the site context.

Site Analysis Report:
Site A Analysis from Yung Kai

The deck we design is for bird watching and is located on the middle of the track. It is to build on a very steep area so that there are nothing blocking in front, giving a clear view. Besides that, our design is based on a bridge, continue out the sky reaching the birds. The structure look like a net holding up the deck which have the fuction of catching mist and condense it into water droplets also attract the bird to stand on it.

From this project 2a, I realize that having a site analysis done before strating to design is very useful and important, it give off every information that what we can or cannot do in that particular site. It help to push our design to the limit and make use of everything that is on the site context. About site context, it makes our design becoming more unique because we are designing based on it, which no others can use on other site.
