Design, Assignment 1(a): Sketching

In this assignment 1(a), students are required to observe nature and the build environment and capture design elements apparent or unseen with their bare eyes. Then students are required to sketch their finding, producing total 10 A5 sketches, each sketch must include an explanation page behind the artwork to further explain and identify the required elements of design through simple diagrams.

Reflection:

Having done this assignment, I've learned a lot of design concept and technique for sketching. We areg given a very good oppurtunity to improve our drawing or sketching skills and also learn the very basic of design elements, without this assignment, I can't imagine how I handle my other assignments or future study.
